This is by far the best donair in the city. Amean is in a strip mall on 34 Avenue in Edmonton. This shop has been here for years and continues to put out the best donairs in the city. Folks may not realize but most of the donair restaurants sell pre packaged meats. The vast majority of restaurants are, in fact, selling the same donairs. These folks have made their own with delicious herbs and spices. And it's all halal. The donairs are also enormous. They pack in to your pita! The one in the photo is a super. The jumbo is monstrous! The service here is incredible. They take the time to remember you and how you like your food offered. They know that I often like mine fried a little more on the grill which gives it some crispness and extra zest. And they are so friendly! The space is average. It's like many donair restaurants. Tables and chairs. Lol I cannot say enough about Amean. It will change your donair experience forever.

I’ve been coming to Amean Pizza and Donair for years and it’s always been one of the best donairs in the city. Great food, good people, and excellent service every time. Highly recommend!

I love coming here! I sometimes ho here for lunch during my work lunch break. It definitely is my go-to. I normally get their spicy king jumbo beef donair combo. And I absolutely love it.

Food was excellent. Definitely worth the bit of a wait time. Although I didn't like the fact that the server took two phone orders while we were making our order at the till for takeout.

I drive from Eagle Mountain, Utah, USA to come visit family in Edmonton 2x a year roughly and without fail this is where I go to first. After a 17-20 hour trip and before even visiting family. I stop here and get a jumbo spicy Donair with extra sweet sauce and without fail it is a mouth watering experience. They have changed management since I first started coming here roughly 8 years ago but still always friendly and great food!

THE best donairs I have ever had in my life! Some of the most flavourful, and perfectly seasoned donair meat I've ever tasted. These guys know how to make a real donair and give you 90% meat, like we ALL want!! None of those lettuce filled, wheres the meat?, kinda donairs; These are perfection in the purest form. Theres no bloating, no gas, no burping up onions and mystery meat for 2 days after....Just pure and simple satisfaction. Lastly, we need to give Sam a shoutout for being so friendly and positive every time we come in, and remembering each persons order down to the last detail.
